This was my first experience with purchasing a used car it was the worst thing I ever did..... It all started when I picked up the car 3 days after I put the deposit on it. I had very bad service, the guy I purchased the car from was supposed to give me a walk around with the car but did not, he instead slid the keys at me and that was that. Then when I got in the car there were an extra 50Km put on the car when I asked the dealer about it they could not give me an explanation at this point I should have left the car there but I did not.... As I drove off the clutch was squeaking. I dropped off the car the next day to have the clutch looked at, which it was somewhat fixed (since then the car has been in the shop 3 times re: the clutch and the issue is still ongoing, meaning it still squeaks now and then). After all of this I called the Manager of the dealership he said that he would pay my first service bill. Ended up he gave my $49 towards my $200 bill.
I would not recommend this place to anyone.
I've always enjoyed driving my Hyundai with one small issue. To get service at a Hyundai dealership I had to drive to Richmond or North Van. Enter Destination Hyundai. Opening within the last year I was so happy to hear that there was finally an option to get my Hyundai serviced in the city. With a convenient location near 12th and Kingsway they are easy to get to and I think I was their first customer for the service department! This didn't stop them from offering top-notch service and taking care of all my service needs in an expert and professional fashion. And the service didn't stop with my car! I needed a lift just outside of their normal drop off zone for their courtesy shuttle and the immediate response was "No problem!" for both the drop-off and the pick-up. If you have a Hyundai and live in the city, head over to Destination Hyundai for all your service needs!
