Liberty Tax Service

I was told I’d receive $20 for each new client I brought into Liberty. I brought my two daughters in and both had their tax returns taken care of. I was told by “Merv” my cheque for $40 would be in the mail in a few days. After numerous visits and phone calls I’m still waiting for my cheque. Merv is never in the office when I go in to see him and he doesn’t answer his phone messages. To my mind this a SCAM to get new clients with empty promises of a “new client referral payment”.
