Disappointed

Being a resident of Port Alberni, i have visited Grannies over the years too many times to list, usually inebriated beyond belief which leads me to the conclusion why.. i could tolerate the food. My 45 minute wait for a burger and fries was unacceptable, i could have located, slaughtered and cooked my own cow during this period, which wouldnt have been so painstaking if there was perhaps a tv to watch in the dining area?? Upon returning home to inspect my meal, to my surprise my poutine fries consisted of a large bunch of what appeared to be fries, bonded together with an excessive amount of cold gravy? and half cooked chedder? My disappointment was so great that i took the time to create a yellow pages account so i could express myself in another manner than beating my head against the wall. Cheers

Food was greasy, so much I could have fried breakfast for the next week. The fries were dipped twice in the fryer. Bathrooms were dirty and no toilet paper. The girl gave us $5.00 more than she should have, and we had to ask for our drinks after waiting almost an hour for our food. The prawns were overcooked and rubbery. I thought they had good prices, but the service and food were awful.
