Living in Germany in the late 1990s, Sabrina Faas fell in love with the art of drinking fine tea. “When I came back to Vancouver, there weren’t very many tea stores in town and I really, really missed my loose tea,” says Sabrina, who has been proudly sharing her passion for the highest quality of tea with Kitsilano locals since 2000.

“People who drink really good tea really are happier,” says Sabrina, owner and operator of Bayswater Tea Company, the specialty café and retail store on Broadway. “If you take 15 minutes to make that cup of tea and enjoy that cup of tea, it will relax you and soothe you, and you will be a happier person because of it. It’s that simple.”
