These are the mechanics you have been looking for. Very honest went to them as a second opinion shop and ended up doing a fraction of the repairs I was told I "required". They went over it with me and actually took the time to explain to me what was going on and why I needed it. They have gained a customer for life in me, and I hope this helps them. I've been to these guys twice now and it's not a fluke. They give great and honest service. I'm a female that knows very little about my car... LOL, so twice now they've told me what the issue was (a dying battery and an issue with my thermostat) and both times did not try to oversell things I may not need. They fixed my issues, did not oversell, and did not take advantage of me - and they were very prompt both times. I highly recommend!
Problem at the front of my mini van fixed fast and cheap.
There were other parts that were worn but fine for the rest of the life of the vehicle.
They let me know about it and told me not to worry. Other places would have stressed that it's a problem and would have tried to get me to replace these parts as well.
They also gave me a price for premium parts and cheaper parts. When I asked which I should use, since it's an old vehicle that I will only have for a couple of years, they recommended the cheaper parts.
They also heard a noise from the back of the van, found a small broken part, had spare parts available, and replaced it at no charge.

LOVE these guys! Sammy and Mitchell are awesome! They are honest and trustworthy. We took our van to get undercoated (great price!) last fall and have not taken our van anywhere else since. It's hard to find an automotive shop that you can trust and rely on. Not only were they completely honest about everything that really needed fixing but they did it at a fraction of the cost of other mechanics in the area. They are super reliable and friendly and I will recommend Homeland auto service to all my friends and family.
These two guys are very professional and personable. I had a quote from another shop that I wanted a second opinion on so I took the estimate to these guys and they went over the car with me showing me what did and did not need to be replaced. They saved me a few hundred dollars. Their shop may be a little hard to find but once you have found it, you will not want to leave. They are a true diamond in the rough! Thanks guys.
