I think it was way better when the previous owners were there, not such a big fan anymore, but i might give it another chance
I've been going to Stanley's for about 2 years and it recently changed owner. I used to love the fish & chips here, but now find that the portions are so much smaller and the prices are still the same. I wouldn't mind paying the high price for fish and chips if the portion size was the way it used to be, but now I'm never going back.
I was introduced to Stanley's just last week. My friends brought home some halibut and chips and I was sold! Very little grease, excellent portions, and cooked to perfection. They swear by it and now so do I! I can't wait to see what else they have in store!
This is the best place for fish & chips ever. The steak sandwich is so good, my mouth is watering just thinking about it. You will not regret visiting this place.
Great restuarant. Fish is exceptional, with a great, light batter not laden with grease, fries are fresh, hot, & very tasty. I prefer the Haddock, which is surprisingly good. Very well done, good value. Staff are very friendly, as well. Definitely worth a visit.
Service was quick and very friendly! Ordered 4 fish & chips which arrived quickly, freshly made, hot & D E L I C I O U S!!! Lightest batter made this the tastiest fish I have enjoyed in a long time. The store is very clean with ample space in the booths. They are also busy with lots of take out orders. Staff seemed happy to be there as were we. Will be going back

VERY GOOD FISH AND CHIPS WITH FRIENDLY SERVICE! THE FISH WAS NOT GREASY AND THE FRIES WERE HOT AND FRESH. IF YOU'RE IN THE AURORA AREA, DROP IN AND GIVE STANLEY'S A TRY, YOU'LL BE HAPPY THAT YOU DID.
The best fish & chips place I have found in a long time. Great portion size, not too greasy and perfect homemade chips. Its requested whenever family visits from out of town.

Service was quick and the food was wonderful. Fish batter was just right and crispy. The chips were delicious. Can't wait to go back
Had a delicious dinner. The fish was crisp & fresh, the shrimp was tasty. I was also impressed by the chips which tasted home made and they obviously change their cooking oil on a regular basis. I did not enjoy the mushy peas but that is my personal taste. Will be back.
For a fish and chip store it's amazing how great ALL the options are on the menu. I've had their fish and chips before and they're amazing. But the steak and shrimp are excellent too. Their Greek salad - especially the homemade dressing - are to die for. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend this restaurant!!!
All four of us ordered the halibut and chips. Fantastic!! We were all impressed not only with the pleasant family atmosphere but the food as well. The serving was quite large and the fish was simply delicious. And the price was VERY reasonable. Will visit again for sure!

Great Food. Great Atmosphere. Heard about this place from a few people and had to try it. Loved it! Nice to see fresh cut fish and fresh cut fries! We'll definitely be back.
Fast friendly dine-in service even when the take-out line-up is long. Succulent crispy fish with tasty crispy fries. Excellent size portion, not too big and not too small. Good coleslaw. Garden salad is okay but nothing special. Have eaten here many times and will continue to do so.
