On Easter Friday, I ordered the family dinner online for pick up. I had to call in because I could not order a burger online but then I was told that they no longer make/sell hamburgers! My son had to go elsewhere to get one. The roll was only white and was like a mini hamburger...not the nice rolls that they use to have before the renovation and menu changes. The roasted potatoes came overcooked and soggy as were the fries. I will not order from this Swiss Chalet again.
Had a late lunch yesterday with a friend, she used a coupon that didnt specify only one per TABLE their was just two. The manager was not client friendly the waiteress was not much better. You will never see use there again, by the way we have grey hair. So for ageing.
I had to wait 30 min for my food. Finally I got up and left. Ordered delivery, many times, a lot of times order wasnt 100% right. No big deal I'm not picky. One time driver came early so no one was home so no food but I got charged. I spoke to both managers both times I felt I bothered them. It's been 3 weeks still waiting for my money but they take money put of your CC right away. They are not customer oriented. I'm not ordering ever again.
Not happy, the mason jars are terrible, trays with waxed paper was terrible , it disintegrated when the food was wet .
Our grandson had a problem.. no chicken strips (his favourite) , no baked potatoes, hardly any healthy choices !

Fist they gave me water in a mason jar( what happened to regular glass. Then they served the meal on a tray
that has like a wax paper under the food( ya I want wax paper in my mashed potatoes or chicken with gravy) ?

Always yummy as you'd expect from a Swiss chalet. It's a very busy location but certain times of the day it is easier to be seated. Waits aren't usually too long. One time they ran out of chicken! But I love this restaurant and would say its my favourite place for dining.
Everyone knows what to expect at to eat at a Swiss Chalet, so I won't bother going into that here. What I want to discuss is the service. We went here earlier this year. The server was alright and brought crayons for our toddler. The meal was overpriced for what you get, really. But what really miffed me was the hostess. When we first got in, here we are holding a fidgety 2 year old, and we are waiting and waiting and waiting for someone to at least greet us and show us to our table. Nothing. There was nobody at the entrance to even greet you. There were plenty of glass-eyed waitresses or hostesses who walked by and just gave us and the people behind us empty stares. They didn't even bother to say that it would just be a moment longer. When they FINALLY show up, after SEVERAL minutes, the girl doesn't even apologize for the unusually long wait, she doesn't even say hello. She just leads us to our table and leaves. That really stunk.

From the moment we sat down our server Tracey was GREAT, our drinks were on the table in two minutes and she was very knowledgable about everything on the menu. Taking the time to ask the kids what they wanted and being patient when my mother in law took to long to order. I will contimue to visit Bayfield Street Swiss Chalet and request Tracey as my server everytime.
The burgers are huge, thick and most important, JUICY!!! The buns are soft and fresh. The service is fast, but THEY TAKE THEIR TIME!!! Worth trying. Shredded cheese on top. Excuse me, I need the internet to ORDER!!!
