Service was great. Food was nothing special. Portion size to price ratio is ridiculous. I ordered ravioli and got 8!!! pieces of pasta (yes I counted). Pretty disappointed.
They have the most Delicious steak !!! I'll go bad with hands down!!! Delicious food
Overall the place was great. Some servers were better than others, but all were very nice. The food was good and atmosphere was great. They accomodated us even though we were a large group. Over 20 people and 7 separate bills. The only thing I could say was we were all very happy.
I've been here about 5 times and I've liked it so, when they had the seafood special this spring my boyfriend and I made reservations to go up one friday evening. The service was pretty slow despite not being very busy and the food did not seem at all fresh. My steak was good but the lobster seemed like it had been sitting. My boyfriend ate his whole meal and had to have another when we got home as the portion wasn't that big. (He isn't a very big guy either... 5"9 and average weight). Within a couple hours of getting home I started to feel sick and ended up spending the whole night pucking. Not sure what to think as it has been good before but this time is was beyond awful.
Fantasic during off season (Fall and Spring). Coppers has a dinner deal that features some of the best steaks I have ever had! This is a must!
I recently moved to Collingwood and I went to the gym for a day pass and to the restaurant with 3 other people. This is the most unfriendly couple of places!!!!! The food was overcooked, the staff was rude! The gym by the same name was dirty and the people do not obviously want our business. Is all of Collingwood this arrogant?
I took my mom to the mountain for Mother's day dinner. She had never dined at Blue before. Our server was friendly and attentive but our meal was truly cold. It was not busy at all but it seemed that our food sat in the window a long time or their steam table maybe doesn't work like it should. The veg and potatoes were cold and the steak and lobster were barely warm. The flavour was nice though.
The bar messed up our drink orders (Keith's instead of Stella), waitress hassled us about splitting the bills amongst the group. Food was tasty and the restaurant had a nice atmosphere. Pretty satisfying after a long day of skiing!
Food was ok, but nothing special, but my main comment is that the prices are way too high, not only for the amount of food, but also the quality. I'd suggest other eateries in the Village at Blue. Nice patio location though.
Great food and great atmosphere. Best patio in the village.
Coming from New Zealand and now living in Germany it was exciting to finally find a Restaurant of this quality here on the Skifields and so well priced.Of course we will be back, but next time in the summer to see what Copper Blues and Collingwood have to offer!!
This is a wonderful restaurant with excellent food. Sometimes it gets very busy- call in advance for reservations or you may not get a table. The food is pricey but very worth it. The atmosphere is noisy so it is best if you go with a group or at least go expecting a pub environment. We all will go again.
poor service, server was outside chatting with friends while we waited for food, food sat under sun lamp for 5 minutes which we could see from our seat, very expensive lunch for food served, try pub across the street
We waited a very LONG time for what turned out to be not very good food. It was cold and the meat was tough. It was also VERY expensive.
