John's Family Restaurant

I love this place, go here every weekend and tell all of my friends about it. BUT this weekend was different - we got sat at a table and it was swarming with fruit flies. As a server I understand this happens, however I didnt want to eat my breakfast with flies in my food. So, I gently approached THE OWNER and requested that we be moved to another table. He blatantly told me it was too bad and refused to move us so we left. Honestly, the most disappointing experience Ive had at this restaurant.

Discrimination against people with allergies. The waitress was amazing and understanding of what needed to be done but the cooking staff did not want to make my sisters meal.

Very back service and cleanliness.. Milk canister we received with milk for the coffee, had gravy deposited on the inner side. Looked gross, when told to the server, she told what it is and laughed off. If this is on serving dishes, then i have no idea whats inside the kitchen. It felt it was nasty. I would not go back again.

We went here tonight as a family for a simple family dinner. I am very impressed by the clean quiet family atmosphere. Then came the menus that were filled with very fair priced items for dinner for all of us. When dinner came out I was absolutely positively impressed. There is no doubt that a lot of thought and creativity went into every item. We will definitely be back!! Thank you so much for such a great little treasure so close to home!!

My husband and I ...

My husband and I had lunch at John's Restaurant on Thursday, October 15/15. The food was excellent, tasty and clean. The service was also excellent. They have a varied menu and the prices are very reasonable. Tried to go there on Sunday morning for breakfast and people were lined up out the door, proving how popular and good this restaurant is. Have recommended it to my family and friends.
