At last somewhere...

At last somewhere GOOD to eat in Brantford! From the outside Cliffy's doesn't look like much but I assure you it is well worth trying out. The food was great, the prices were sensible, and our waitress was wonderful.

Another great dinner experience at Cliffy's. A very friendly and family oriented restaurant. Staff is always very polite. Have to be honest, i'm addicted to their panzorotti's...they're huge and very tasty...most of the time have to make 2 meals out of them. Definitely recommend them, just bring your appetite.

It's OK

We kept hearing that Cliffy's is the place for panzarotti so we tried it a couple of times. The prices are reasonable and the folks working behind the counter are really nice. We ordered take out and strangely, if you are paying debit, they can't accommodate you at the take out window. You are escorted into the dining room bar to do your transaction which was very odd. The dining room patrons seem bothered that you are there and like it was mentioned below, if they are on the phone at the time, the debit machine is unavailable so I did have to wait, however not very long. The panzarotti portion was generous and the food was hot but there was something about the taste my wife and I (we're both Italian btw) couldn't pin down. After our second try here we noticed that the dough of the panzarotti was sweet. Almost like you'd expect in say a Pizza Fritte or something. The taste was off-putting for us, so much so that we'll probably not order panzarotti from here again. That's not to say it's bad, it's just not to our personal taste is all.

love this place. Great Panzerotti. Incredible pizza. service is ok, a bit slow. but the food is worth the wait. Best fresh rolls in the WORLD.

This is definately one of Brantfords best kept secret, this is a family owned business. The atmosphere is very cosy and romantic great for a night out. The food is just amazing and very reasonable. you have to try it out.

Actually this is a Portugese pizzeria & restaurant and pride themselves on a real family atmosphere.They have a variety of Italian dishes and pizza as well as some great stirfrys(chicken&cashew)and good salads.They also have homemade daily specials which are excellent and very reasonably priced.Len D.
