This restaurant has become one of our favourite places to go in Burlington. The food is absolutely amazing and the staff are so nice! From the moment you sit down they already have tea for you. One thing weve never figured out is that they give you 1 less menu than the amount of people in your group. But it all works out. The food is absolutely delicious and everything you need is at arms reach at your table. I highly reccommend the medium rare beef soup (101.). It may be one of the most delicious soups on earth..! They have hundreds of menu items to choose from too. I highly reccommend visiting this restaurant in the near future!
Used to come here 2-3 times a year with success. Last night was the last. My partner ordered a shrimp dish and instead got shrimp like substance in sausage form. My pork was tough. The spring roles were a good start tho.
First of all I would like to say what an excellent staff! My daughter and I were coming in for take out on a really cold day and they offered us a nice pot of tea and made us feel welcome. The next surprise was the food. It was excellent! All fresh ingredients. It was my first time trying Pho and I will definately be back again...Very good price for a very filling fresh and healthy meal!

I will definitely be coming back! I haven't had pho much, but that's because I've never liked it so much as I did here! We started with 2 apps which were good. Loved the fried spring rolls. The pho was GREAT. You get the option of small, medium, large, (extra large too I think). I had the small and it was HUGE! But we had already ordered the rice vermicelli dishes. We had to take most of them to go cuz they were AMPLE!! Service was great. Very nice and prompt! Great price too. Will definitely come again!!
Absolutely love the chicken soup (109). The the cut of meat in the chicken soup is better than what you get in some of the other entres. The spicy beef pho is also tasty, but the meat looks less appealing. I also really like the grilled chicken. It is very tender and has a great smokey flavour. Love the food, but have to admit the overall cleanliness and ambiance is somewhat lacking. The staff have always been friendly.

The Pho and bun bo always come out at the right temperature and they both taste great. The front-end younger servers don't have so much charisma (the dad comes out from the kitchen every once in a while and he's great) but the food makes up for their lack of overt enthusiasm. We are going back for sure!

Agree with other reviewers that cleanliness is an issue. Greater attention to presentation would likely lead me to visit more often. Being that the food is good (and I think it's the only Vietnamese restaurant near me in Burlington) I will return.

The food, so far, has been great. I enjoy it immensely, and go back on a fairly regular basis. I find myself craving it at times. I am always pleasently full when I finish my meal, and feel as though I ate a healthier meal than if I went to one of the other casual places in the area.
Granted, as some other reviewers have said, it's hard to understand them at times, and they don't always seem to know what you are asking them. However, I find some adventure in trying different things and seeing what I like.
Since they always seem to be steady, and it is a family that runs it, they do forget things at times. I suggest you check your meal before you leave, if you are ordering take out.
Overall, I am quite happy with the food; and the service, while slow, is always friendly. Half the enjoyment of the meal is the friendliness of the service. The restaurant, while not the spic and span, is nice, and seems relatively clean.
I suggest, if you are looking to try something different, that you will inevitably fall in love with, try Saigon on Brant, it's worth the few dollars for a substantial meal.
The food took a really long time to come. The chopsticks, spoons and other utensils were dirty as was the tea pot. The food was so-so but the cleanliness really scares me.

But their food is straight up delicius...[most of the time if you order the right one coz the menu is hard to understand]
We were at restaurant for lunch every week,all the food so good,no grease,no MSG,waiter is good,served is excellent,the soup so wonderful,a lot of my friends like to eat at this restaurant ,too.
This restaurant is horrid. The food was awful, and one could easily tell that low quality ingredients/cuts of meat were being used. Our waitress, a white girl, spoke with a Vietnamese accent and when asked to clarify what she brought to the table she responded "Number 7, Number 4, and Number 10." Of course, this didn't help much, especially considering we no longer had the menus. Our crab was incredibly greasy and swimming in oil. I will never return.

Hi. We are a couple that are now regulars at this restaurant because the food was so good. I have to admit that we did buy too much. My wife and I are allergic to MSG and we were happy to here that the food doesn't have any of that in it. This restaurant is great and the people that work there are very friendly.
My Dad and I have become regulars at Saigon on Brant [him more than I] and I'm sure we both agree that this is a great restaurant, with good food and such a sweet family that owns it!
Hi I'm a regular at this restaurant and while reading this review board, I am shocked at some of the comments made. I had just recently had a 408 and a 507 did not occur any problems such as cold meat and anything else that this reviewer had. I believe this person is a liar and a phony on giving this great family restaurant the bad review it shouldn't have. I believe this reviewer is the former Canadian waiter that used to work there but I haven't seen here. As to reveiw that Canadian waiter who used to work there I give her no credit in making the restaurant a better place as her services were horrible and if I see here again I wouldn't come back to the restaurant. But overall the food was great. The service was great after the Canadian waiter left and the price isn't that bad for my wallet.
