I've eaten Indian food in many parts of the world and this definately hit the spot. It was very flavourful with a bit of kick. The service was excellent although be prepared for a bit of a wait from delivery because they're very busy.
We were regulars for over 10 years of another Indian restaurant until we tried The Spices. We absolutely LOVE their Chicken Dhansak! Fresh ingredients, friendly service, reasonabe prices!
I got the lunch special: it was ok, quality was good, but serving was sparse: a few pieces of chicken and potato on some rice. And that was it. Would have been so much more with the addition of some naan, more food, etc. Not great value for money.
My favourite spot for Indian take out. Food is always great - service is friendly and the food is always ready on time.
This was my first visit to the Spices and I was very pleased. The only disappointment were the samosas, which really didn't have much flavour and were pretty greasy. The vindaloo was very spicy, the way it should be and the aloo gobi, which is one of my favourites, was delicious. My meal was given away by mistake so I had to wait a bit when I got there to pick it up, but they worked quickly to fix the problem. I will definitely go back, the prices are very reasonable, the portions sizes are good and the food is fabulous.
Naan bread and samosas were to die for! Dahl wasn't very good, it was too spicy and too runny. The rice dishes were delicious, as usual! I love The Spices, it's a great restaurant for fans of Indian food!
Lunch special is amazing. Perfect portions of authenticly prepared Indian dishes made to order so you know that they are fresh. One of the best curry places around, this stuff was not poured out of a can. Great value at $5.
If Vindaloo is not enough for you, the Spices 'Phal Chicken' is the BEST I HAVE EVER HAD!! (You need to ask for it) I have been around the world and tried many, this is by far the best you will get outside of India itself!!! Recommend HUGE!! Thanks SPICES!! Scottie B
Amazing flavour in the food!!! this is a reasonabley priced, take out Indian place that allways satisfies!!! the dinner for two feeds three people no prob. YUMMY!
Great place to eat. The lunch is $4.95,incl tax. I've eaten there many times, and I get dinner there regularly as well. Try the Chicken Korma for a very mild treat!
I used to work in the tanning salon next door to these guys and their food is AMAZING! Awesome service! Great prices! If you go there, be sure to try the chicken curry as well as the Garlic Naan Bread....mmmm excellent!

We had Tadoori Chicken and Pakorah! One of us was vegetarian and he also liked his vegetable curry! I will definetely recommend their tandoori chicken!
Although most of the food was very good (I loved the Shahi Aloo!), I found the meat in the Rogan Josh was very tough. Also, it wasn't lamb so it was very disappointing. The Korma and the rice were great though. The service wasn't the friendliest, possibly because I wasn't a regular. I'd go back but would not remain loyal if I find something better.
Takeout only. Curry, tandoori, vindaloo all excellent!! Naan bread ... well, you can work your way through this menu in about 10 visits. Perhaps the flavours ocassionally lack complexity, but I could not say I have been disappointed by a single dish.
Had the Curry Chicken - Sauce was good but there was only 3 small peices of chicken floating in it. It also was rather expensive for what you got - I might go again as I usually like to give places a second chance.
