Loved the new Fish & Chip offering. The flatter fillet allowed for a moist and crispier bite that was lacking previously. Enjoyed from first to last bite. Friendly staff, and was acknowledge and greeted by all staff I encountered.

Not impressed at all. We used to love the food here but from our last visit we will not be returning for the food. The service was just as bad as the food. Plates were taken before we were even
finished. Not that we wanted to finish it.
We had the Alaskan chicken and Neptune these were one of the most expensive meals and we're just disgusting.
All in all we were very disappointed and will not be returning. Maybe in the summer for some drinks as the view is incredible but that is all it has going for it.
The soup dish was quarter full but good, then came my cobb salad. It was mainly tortilla chips and wilted spring salad. I was very dissappointed. The waitress asked if I would like something else. So I ordered a beef dip. Five minutes later the manager, I guess, came out with my salad and said" there is nothing wrong with it" and set it down on the table. When we left I had said to the waitress" being a senior I have never had this happen before". WHen we walked out the door to our car out come the manager yelling"have a nice evening!" Is this good customer service? We will not be back until under new management AGAIN!! WE have frequented that retaurant by boat or car for 35 years.....
Have visited The Orchard Beach regularly over the past several years. The food WAS great and the location on summers evening on the patio to die for. BUT have a feeling the place may have changed hands and it has gone down hill. ordered a steak sandwich with fries, steak was overcooked and warm to say the least fries cold, sent it back, got a new dish of fries which were a mix of hot cold! Was advised the Manager would come to see us and adjust the bill. He never showed and went home. After a lot of complaining they took $3 off the bill. Felt sorry for the server, needless to say didn't get a tip.
This is the third time we have eaten here. Every time was very good, great service and reasonable prices
This time we were accompanied by six other people and there was not one complaint about the food or the service. The deck is a wonderful place to eat . We have to drive over an hour from home so that may indicate how good the place is
Things must have changed a great deal over the last few months because our experience was nothing like the previous bad reviews.
Great crowd, Interior needs redone, but if you are seated outside during the summer it is a beautiful way to spend your meal. The staff is always friendly and the manager comes by to make sure you are happy. Food is always great, we always get the spinach dip and roast beef dip sandwhiches with fries and it is made the same every time.
Popped in for lunch and and a beer and was pretty dissapointed.

We love this place, for a bar and grill the food very rarely disappoints! The interior could use some work but the staff are always pleasant and make every effort to please!
The location has potential, but the interior needs upgrading. The service was a little disappointing but I can understand that the wait staff hears tons of complaints. The food is horrible at best. Everything appears to be prepackaged, bland, unseasoned, such a shame. At best just order a hamburger and fries prepackaged but at least it is grilled.

Our visit to the Orchard Beach B&G was brief; unfortunately we didn't have a chance to sample much on the menu, but I will say the quesadillas were excellent. They were loaded with fixings, including heeps of jal. peppers..just as we asked. The server was attentive, quick and very friendly. The view from the patio was outstanding...would recommend this restaurant to anyone passing through Keswick.
This resturant NEVER disspoints as long as you realize that it's a bar and grill and therefore VERY BUSY!! The food is the best in Keswick I dare you to find better for the same cost seeing as it's the only Bar and grill around.
Personally I really like this place, the food, location, although the service can be improved.
Please beware of the ATM, no debit for paying your bills & the ATM says no cash given & debits your account for the amount you wish to withdraw....then you are stuck with long hassles at bank to return money.

Great bar food and location. UNFORTUNATELY, they don't seem to understand the meaning of '2 for 1.' My wife and I ordered the '2 for 1' chicken fingers. The two orders came, and everything was fine BUT, on the bill, we were charged full price for two orders. When I mentioned that it was '2 for 1' and we should only be charged for 1 not 2, the waitress THEN explained that at this restaurant, in a 2 for 1 special, you still pay full price but you SUPPOSEDLY get twice as much food on each plate!! To me, in a 2 for 1, you get 2 meals for the price of 1 - I've never heard of this before. Although the food was good and I'd probably go back, this left a sour taste in my mouth. BE CAREFUL WHEN ORDERING THE SPECIALS FROM THIS PLACE!
