Food is good, sometimes takes a little too long to come or they forget to bring something out. Service is absolutely terrible and there isn't much variety on the all you can eat menu
It's one of the best All-You-Can-Eat Japanese restaurants that I've ever tried. The food quality was above average (from my personal experience), and the service was okay. We went there during lunch time, and the price was reasonable ($12.99/person). They also did not charge a 10% service charge on top of the bill, where other restaurants would normally do. The only disappointment would be the variety of food that they are serving. There weren't many choices on the all-you-can-eat menu.
Just went last night with 4 of my friends. Ive been to several places in the GTA for sushi and I really hope the overall rating of this place doesnt drop because really....at this point its one of the best ive been to. All the staples are available but they also have interesting items like volcano salad, and monkey rolls. The service and atmosphere was very good and very welcoming. We ordered a good amount of food and got no dirty looks or snickering like other sushi places. The only low notes I could possibly think of is that the sashimi is cut in half the thickness of most places so order double what youre use to and youre set. Lots of space in the resteraunt. Free Parking. Fair price on alcohol.
Two of us went for lunch buffet. You simply cannot beat the price. $12 for all you can eat. Everything was done wonderfully. I have to admit, I was there twice in one week for lunch!
Ok, we had take out... which was free delivery and everything... and they came in 15 minutes... with all the food -- which we assumed to be little when we were first ordering, but there was soooo much... and it was sooo good! The take out service was amazing! On the phone, we didn't know what sashimi was, nor did we know was gyoza was, and they kindly explained it... then when the guy came to deliver, he was so nice! I seriously love this place! and its basically down the street so i'm taking eveyone who wants japanese food! Next week theyre going to have a party of 15... people from work! all of us sushi buffet, can't wait !
We ordered a la carte, and the rolls were unique and super tasty. They had several which used soy wrappers instead of nori(seaweed), something that I hadn't had before. I can't wait to go back when I'm hungrier for the all you can eat menu! Service was friendly and attentive.
Finally, a sushi restaurant in Vaughan that's up to par with the ones in Toronto. I went for lunch with a friend and stepped inside to a unique, classy and visually stimulating restaurant. The menu had many choices with my friend choosing the Udon noodle bowl while I chose the California, spicy salmon, chicken teriyaki and shrimp tempura sushi roll. The presentation was breath taking and everything we ordered tasted amazing. We finished off the afternoon with mango ice cream and red bean ice cream. It was light and refreshing. The service was impeccable and they deserved the $15 tip we left even though our food order came up to only $30.64.
EXCELLENT service! I enjoyed every bit of my sakura Sushi experience.
