Charged too much!!!!

We went here and had excellant service. After on the way home I kept wondering how our bill came to so much. I looked on line at the menu and still could not figure it out. I called the restaurant and when I hung up and had added everything up still did not get the answer they did. The girl told me that as we had had a breakfast after 3 that made them worth $9.00 each the menu says the ones we had were $8.10 that was for 3 of them and 3 coffee at $1.80 then one person had just 2 poached eggs and toast No drinks. The bill came to $48.48 I just do not get this to add up. When I called the lady said the 2 eggs and toast were $7.25 and .25 for rye on one breakfast. This is way out of line for this meal. I just can't believe they charged this much. I did read the menu and it says the breakfast is $9.00 after 3. I believe the waitress charged for one coffee too many and a full breakfast. Couldn't get the lady I talked to, to accept a mistake was made.

Terrible dining experience

The only good thing about my night out was the waiter. He was jovial and very friendly. The salad bar was pitiful in its' number of choices. Limited lettuce, some tomatoes cucumber onions and that was about it. The hot roast beef sandwich when it arrived was very unappealing to the eye. A pile of meat served between 2 pieces of brown bread covered with a small amount of gravy The meat was tough and dry and I could not finish it. It was tasteless. The accompanying fries were hot, crisp and the best part of the meal. It was served with freah vegetables. Overall my dining experience was much to be desired.

Not my Mom's cooking

We have tried this place several times to give it a chance and every time there was something wrong. Their food is like a bad diner. I wonder if the owner or even the cook tastes what they make?

Will never return

Below average service trivialized our requests for new food after finding plastic and metal in two of our dishes. Rediculous.

Good Food - Home Style Menu

Overall not an elaborate menu, rater home style cooking and menu offering. Food quality is good, and the restaurant is clean. The atmosphere, while good is not the most impressive I have eaten in. However, it is a nice quiet atmosphere with good service. If you are looking for a quiet atmosphere, with good home cooking, then this is agood choice. Service is good, with friendly, courteous and well trained mature staff. This is not a top steak house, however the prices are not in the top steak house either!! Good choice for a comfortable, relaxed meal.
