Excellent experience! Owner and serving staff very friendly. Food was fantastic, have visited many times in the past and many more times in the future. I am a bit confused to some of the prior low rating comments, as they seem to have some sort of personal grievence against the restaurant. Nothing but good experiences from us every single time!
My family and I are regulars here. We live in the neighbourhood and have been dining here for at least 3 years about once or twice a month. We've been with family, taken business clients (I'm a real estate agent), and we often order delivery too. We sometimes try new things but usually can't part with our favourites. We have to end with the glorious rice pudding! The feel overall from the food to the service to the fire burning behind the bar is like home. When I've had a bad day this is where I go to relax and feel cared for and reenergixe. Most of the customers here are regulars and locals and we often run into people we know. Reading some of the reviews here I felt compelled to say something. I'm not sure what some of the people who weren't satisfied were expecting, but I can't imagine our neighbourhood feeling complete without Tikki Tikka, Anshu and Trevor.

This is the nicest Indian meal I have had in past memory. We went for my parents anniversary and they really took care of us. Everything was wonderful, from the food to the service. If people come here expecting something they are used to, then they may be disappointed as everything here is original. It is a family's representation of a regional cuisine. That's why everything may not be what you are used to. Go with an open mind and enjoy the warmest welcome ever.

I was very disappointed with the service and the food. The chicken in both meals came with dark meat which I do not like. I asked if they could change it to white meat and they complied accept that they used tandoori chicken so the taste with the butter chicken sauce was not appetizing. The samosas were good, but I was disappointed overall with the quality of the food. I will not eat there again.
A disappointment to Indian cooking and service - I may as well have gone to your fridge and kitchen to pick up my food. SLOW., Dirty and highly over-priced for the quantity and quality of food. You will definately not do well with Desis'. I would never recommend this place to anyone even if they were dying of starvation

There is absolutely nothing to say that isn't positive. The service was so nice and friendly. The food was unique. You could tell it was homemade and therefore very different from the usual dishes that seem the same no matter where you are. The ambiance was so warm we had trouble leaving. Lovely experience and we will tell all our friends.
I absolutely loved the food, atmosphere and service at this restaurant. The food is so flavourful and delicious. Definitely the best Indian food I have ever had and I've been to India a number of times. If you are into strong flavours and mouth-watering dishes then you should drop by this restaurant for an exciting meal. You won't regret it!

The first thing I noticed about this restaurant is the quailty flavour of the food. I've found many of the Indian restaurants I've been too seem to serve poor quality food.
I would definitly go again.
Tasteless, overpriced Indian food. Service sucked. The reviews on their website is misleading as the restaurant was reviewed over a year ago. If you want good indian food, stay away from Tikki Tikka.
