Newmarket Mower

Took my Stihl saw in for sharpening. Interesting that the price they quoted when I took it in and the price they tried to charge when I picked up was a 300 percent markup from standard price servicing. 45 dollars for a service that's 15 at other Stihl outlets. After confronted we settled (like he was doing me a favour) for 20 which is only five dollars more than other similar place. Not buying from them again.

Very good service. Took the time to explain the differences in lawn mowers and what was warrantied and even gave other locations and different manufacturers so I could comparison shop and get other opinions. Did this and returned to make my purchase from them. Overall an excellent experience

I brought my hedge trimer in for service. After paying over $100 (including $4.50 fuel charge which the fuel container is no more than 250 mls) the blades were dull, the casing that holds the blades fell apart, and lost most of the bolts. At the same time I brought in a commercial mower for cable and drive belt replacement. Within a week needed more work do to the fact that the bolts were not properly tightened, lost parts and the drive belt guide.
