I went the other day with a couple of friends and I have to say it was a nice cozy place to spend the day with a couple of friends. The sushi was tasty, the service was great. They were so polite and friendly. To the person below, this is Canada. Not Japan or anywhere else in Asia, where their specialties are Asian food. Also didn't help the fact you had high expectations going in which could have affected your overall impression. "Worst sushi" is not something I would use for this restaurant. I definitely recommend it for a night out with your friends and family or even just a lunch with a friend.

BEST SUSHI IN NEW MARKET

This is great well made fresh sushi. When we went, there were two older men working, the sushi chef was Japanese and the waiter too probably. Polite, willing to substitute items for only an additional $1 to get traded from california rolls to dragon rolls. Clean, small place but lots of character. All the ingredients were freshly hand prepared and nicely presented. Decent prices and great value. I love Japanese food and have been eating it for years. I would recommend this place to any Japanese cuisine lover.

Sushi Sushi is a crisp and clean sushi house that is a good choice for value and the quality of food. We order regularly and have never had a bad meal. The staff there are very nice and although this maybe a weird observation if you order take out they ensure you have chop sticks and napkins (this means a lot to me as nobody does this at any restaurant unless being asked anymore)

I've found my sushi in Newmarket!!

Tucked away in a strip mall on Yonge St, just north of Davis Drive, Sushi Sushi is a little gem! The $7.95 sashimi was beautifully presented, with silky smooth salmon, tuna, crab, etc., served with really good miso soup and perfect rice. Hubby just had soup and spring rolls, which were okay - a little on the greasy side. I'll definitely be back here, for take-out or an oasis for when I get the craving. A fabulous little restaurant!

A small restaurant that could only seat 12 at most! A pleasant and clean setting. The lunch specials are a great value. Tempura batter is a little thick, however the rolls are authentic and tasty. The waiter was busy with lots of take out customers, yet he still managed provide relatively quick and friendly service. A good find in Newmarket.
