Unbelievably bad customer service. Felt like I was unwelcome to look. Clearly this isn’t a business .....a business who has any customer service. Will never walk in again and have made my feelings known to many in Ottawa. Lived all over the world and never had a worse experience. Don’t even believe the owners care....

Unfortunately I would not recommend this store to other customers. While some of the glasses they sell in the store are a great quality, the staff is not helpful at all. I was given a temporary pair of glasses in a different colour than the one I originally ordered one year ago, and after several unsucceful follow ups with the store during this period of time, I have yet to receive the original colour ordered. I simply decided to keep the temporary frame,as it wasnt worth it wasting more time.

Great selection of stylish frames. Leanne is talented in choosing frames to suit and has great taste in eyewear. My glasses are awesome. However, I would rather remove my eyeballs with chopsticks than purchase glasses from Eye(z) again. In the famous words of Metalbeard from the Lego Movie, "Ye be warned." Maybe you'll be one of the lucky ones and will come out of the experience unscathed. For those who have had a brush with the darkness, (1) it's not you, and (2) you're not alone.

The lady in the d...

The lady in the downtown shop looks like a nice person one day and mind-blowingly rude the other. When me and my boyfriend went to choose our glasses, she seemed to be nice. That day she said that it would take a week for the glasses to be ready. A week later when we showed up at her store, she started to yell out of the blue. She said "you are being rude for showing up and demanding that the glasses are ready" and she did not stop yelling until we left the store. First, we didn't demand anything, we just kindly asked. Second, the previous week she didn't mention that we were supposed to wait for her phone call. Even if she had mentioned, this is no reason to treat customers this way. It really was a surreal experience. There seems to be many other reviews online about her rudeness (which we found out after purchasing our glasses). We will never go back.

The gentleman at ...

The gentleman at the Kanata location was very nice - the woman on the telephone at the other location was incredibly rude. Never seen such horrid behaviour. Certainly no way to run a business. Once I get my frames (I hope), I will never be back.

A waste of my time

Smallish selection of glasses compared to other places. The owner seems to know her stuff but she can be condescending. They dont allow any pictures, and worst of all they won't write down or even tell you the name of the frames you're looking at. I can deal with the no picture policy, but the other is just plain stupid. When I inquired about it the owner responded rudely. Will never go back.

Excellent Service

I have purchased 3 pairs of glasses from this store in the past 10 years. I find the woman who owns it is very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. She is great if you want help selecting an appropriate frame to suit your face, or if you are unsure and need a second opinion. Her frames are all stylish, and the len technology is state of the art. I always seem to receive complements about my glasses after purchasing from EYEZ. Yes, I would recommend the store. Glasses aren't cheap, but if you have to wear glasses every day, you want them to look good on you - a good investment not only for your eyes but for your appearance too.
