Good: Mango Chicken was very tasty. Bad: Pakoras were very greasy and salty. Ugly: when we came in I asked our server if we could use our Groupon, it was our first time there. Was told it was fine. After the meal someone (who would not give his name or title) said that it cant be used on Fridays. I told him about what the server said, and was told it was his first day.....I do realize I should have read the fine print but an employee told me it was ok, that should have been enough. Oh well,

Cant go wrong... TASTY

After being introduced to this restaurant by my friend who claimed he knew where the best indian restaurant in Toronto was..... and was he right! The food was perfect. Not too spicy, full of taste, served hot and with a smile. Clean restaurant. I've been back several times in the past several months and I am never disappointed. The take out option is perfect on the days we are craving butter chicken and are in a rush...

Watered down Indian food

Went on a Saturday late afternoon/evening and despite the few customers the service was below average. We had to ask for napkins and refills on the water 2-3 times before getting it. Main course - Beef Vindaloo was the best part of the meal and it was pretty good. The naan was similar to PC naan you can get from the supermarket. The Tandoori chicken, Karahi lamb and Mateer Paneer were all well below average in both flavour and quantity. Drinks - We ordered 2 mango lassis - which were similar to milkshakes. We also got a falooda which we sent back to add more rose water to bolster the taste. All in all it seemed the restaurant was catering to people who prefered a more watered down Indian meal without the flavours that we were used to.
