Watch out for hidden costs!!

Terrible experience with Budget Rent a Car. I returned the vehicle and paid the balance of what I owed. A month later a $75 "cleaning fee" was assessed. As well, a month later they tried to bill me $129.00 for fuel even though I had filled up the car (and had the receipt to prove it) at the airport at the time of return. The car wouldn't have even taken that much fuel. They reversed the fuel charge when I called to complain but it is very disturbing to me that they would have even tried to charge me when the tank was full. I wish I'd taken pictures to prove that the car was clean but never imagined I would have to protect myself in this way. Stay away!
