I have been coming here since I was a kid growing...

I have been coming here since I was a kid growing up in the 1970s. I have done the circuit of Gerrard Street Restaurants all the way through my University days and even now. Mahar is the only place where the food is always fresh and never too much oil. I love it because I get my Punjabi cravings satisfied. Every year I order a batch of Samosas for my friends' parties and they are always prepared on time. If you go to Gerrard Street make sure you check this place out, its not expensive, its cute and the food is great.

This is the best place for real Punjabi. It is newly renovated and the resturrant looks great. All the food is scrumptious. Love Naan Kababs, all vegetables and of course the butter chicken.Famous for delicious sweets. I have receomended to all my relatives & friends. Just love their hospitality.
