I live in the Jane/Annette area. I have frequented this restaurant for the last 5-6 years. Today is the LAST TIME I WILL EVER ORDER FROM THEM. Slowly over the years the quality of food has gotten worse and worse. I am so tired of "taking a chance" on this restaurant and spending 50$ on dinner only for it to be terrible.

One of the thinks...

One of the thinks that irks me about this place is that they don't know the first thing about customer service. We've been there a number of times this year and usually we don't have complaints about the food. But the one time we ordered food for delivery it was both very bland and not cooked well at all. We couldn't eat the food because of it. We called to tell them about it and they didn't do anything to give us good service. They kept excusing it saying that's how it's cooked and pretty much

This family-style restaurant offers an abundance...

This family-style restaurant offers an abundance of tasty Chinese and Szechuan dishes loaded with chicken, beef, and seafood. The hardest part about dining at Westwood is deciding what to devour from their massive menu of more than 200 different delicacies. On cold nights, the piping hot Thai soup hits the spot with mushrooms, tomato and spicy herbs. Large portions of homemade wonton soup and hot & sour soup also does the trick. Perfect for sharing are the lavishly stuffed vegetable spring rolls, tender slice of B.B.Q pork, and steamed pork dumplings. On Westwood’s menu discover authentic dishes that brim with your daily dose of veggies. The pad Thai, loaded with tofu, egg, bean sprouts and roasted cashew nuts, hits the spot along with the sticky sweet lemon chicken. A number of Szechuen dishes are seasoned with sweet herbs and spices such as cayenne hot peppers and chili. For a real treat, order the whole Peking duck. This mouthwatering extravagance features thinly carved crispy duck skin served with steamed rice crepes, cucumber, scallion and hoisin sauce. For the second course, savour shredded duck meat stuffed with vegetables. If duck isn’t your forte, regulars can’t resist the lobster cooked in either black bean sauce or ginger and green onions. A number of jumbo shrimp dishes, loaded with chunks of pineapple or ginger, don’t disappoint. Vegetarians don’t fret. Westwood serves a handful of tofu dishes loaded with veggies, veggies and more veggies.

Well well...every once in a while T.O. gives me a good surprise. Dropped my dad off at the Old Mill Inn today as he's attending a meeting there tomorrow, and was blown away by the neighbourhood around there. Beautiful houses, quiet neighbourhood, a bit hilly which gives the place character...really, it's quite beautiful. If you've never been to the area, definitely check it out. Before this, though, my dad and I went for dinner at the Westwood Grill at Runnymede & Annette. The food was good, the service was good, and the ambience was good. And it's completely tucked away in the middle of nowhere. The thing that impressed me most was that they have all-day dim sum, and even have veggie-friendly options. Hurrah! Someplace we can go for dim sum where I'm not completely stuck with just baby bok choy or 3 kinds of fungus! Anyway, if you live in that neighbourhood, I'd recommend stopping in. You can probably get better Chinese in Chinatown, but considering it's: Not in Chinatown Got friendly service Got some ambience I'd say this place is quite good. Enjoy!
