A couple of days ago, our kids asked to order Greek for dinner. I thought it would be nice to support a local restaurant but what a BIG MISTAKE! When I called to order for pickup, the person taking the order was so rude and seemed almost uninterested in taking my order. We ordered 2 chicken souvlaki dinners, a chicken souvlaki on a pita an order of calamari and a spanakopita dinner. The dinners came with some soggy rice and potatoes (no salads or bread) and the souvlaki on a pita which was just chicken and pita (no garnish), came with a salad. I was surprised at the price of our order -- $95! My kids who are not fussy eaters and eat a variety of ethnic foods refused to eat the rice and potatoes and rightly so. The rice was awful and boiled potatoes had no taste. The chicken was only okay. The spanakopita that was suppose to be a large dinner portion was no bigger than an appetizer size from other Greek places. It was also charred around the edges and so it tasted burnt! I couldn't believe that for what we paid we got such awful food and rude service. I will definitely dis-recommend this place to my friends and neighbours. I will go back to ordering from our usual place and get better food, more of it all for less money.
