Mei Ling has been around since we moved to Aurora 26 years ago and the food is always consistent (Great) their Chilli Squid is one of their specialty and it is to die for. Mei Ling is our only choice my family loves it. The people who own it are wonderful too always polite curtious and always making sure that their customers are happy. Nothing negative only wish that the seating area was a little bigger. Again cannot say enough about Mei Ling except that it is worth a try. Lire plus

I was disappointed to read the previous reviews on this page because the restaurant deserves so much more. The food is always so fresh, colourful and delicious. In terms of price and quality it can't be beat. i suggest you try it for yourself. It is one of my absolute favourite restaurants. They don't seem to have a lot of cutomers which is a huge mystery to me. Honestly, you will not be disappointed unless you are a highly critical person. Lire plus

Let me start off by first saying the portions are generous and the food is delicious (especially the general tao chicken which is the perfect amount of spicy and sweet). The service was great and made sure we were enjoying our meal. As a resident of Aurora, I (like the previous reviewer) used to need to go south to either Richmond Hill or Markham before I get a taste of authentic Chinese food but now that I have discovered a local gem I am highly impressed. As an avid traveler, I have tried sushi in many states: California, Arizona, Florida, Maine, Nevada ... Nothing compares to Mitsui sushi. My boyfriend and I are always excited to get home and go to "our" place. The food is always fresh and consistent. The atmosphere could be improved but let's be honest, you're not going there for the ambiance. The food is so delicious you're not even paying attention to your suroundings. This is the Mandarin we always go to in our home town. The staff is always friendly, cleanliness of the restaurant is always excellent, and the food and desserts are always bountiful and fresh! I visit this place every week at least once. The food is great. For a chinese place the prices are considered to be mid to high, however, the quality and service make up for it. But if you are used to eating at western family type restaurants, like baton rouge, alice fuzili, jack astors, etc. This place is a real bargain. Their dim sum is great too, one of the best finds in Richmond Hill. Most of the bargain chinese restaurants tend to offer food that are on the rustic side. This is refined cantonese dining, but this aspect may be lost on many westerners who are used to the China Town grub, and may not have the same discerning palate. Nonetheless, eating there will definitely improve your palate, and you will wonder how a place like the keg, shoeless joe and other similar places can charge $30 per person for the food they serve, and still be considered to be moderately priced. Ive been coming here since i moved a couple minutes down the street almost 10 years ago and i have yet to be disappointed! Serving sizes are huge, and are all under 10 dollars. All the food i have tried has been amazing and i highly recommend the sesame chicken and mostly the shanghai noodles. Really great mom and pop restaurant, only negative is the limited seating but everyone orders take-out. Dont listen to the review beneath mine buddy has no idea whats good. Lire plus

I really like this restaurant. It will have your order ready within 10 minutes. If I'm ever working from home or just don't have time to cook, this is very quick and feasible option. The other day, I placed an order for a slightly spicy meal and went home. I found the meal too spicy for my taste so I asked if I could get a milder version. They just asked me to bring the original meal back & they provided me a fresh meal according to my liking within 10 minutes. Now, that's good customer service. I often go here for lunch since I work nearby. The Japanese chef is very friendly and welcoming. I've had an incredibly pleasant experience every time just being in this quiet and calm restaurant (although every once in a while it's absolutely full with a lunch crowd!) I like the sushi, salmon nigiri in particular, and their uni is very very good. They don't carry toro at all, by choice. Squid, scallop, hamachi, all great. Rolls are very lovely presented. Everyone I've ever taken with me to this place has enjoyed it, whether they were sushi-addicted like me or just into it once in a while. I'm definetly going back. Lire plus
