We stayed at Mist...

We stayed at Mistiso's Place for four days over the Thanksgiving long weekend... and it was the perfect spot for this sort of get-away. The suites are clean and well-equipped, and are located just a few short blocks from Baker Street (shops and restaurants). Maria was a wonderful host, and we will definitely be staying there again.

Mistiso's place i...

Mistiso's place is a great place to stay if you ever visit Nelson. The rooms, including the kitchen and washroom are very clean and tidy. There is a lot of ample light coming in from the window as well as a skylight. I would recommend this suite to anyone visiting Nelson, and I'm certain I will stay here again in my next visit.

This is better than home

This is better than home!" Maria has furnished this little home perfectly for travellers - the best combination of utility and exquisite taste I have seen anywhere, and I have travelled to Europe and North america extensively, The location is perfect - with grocery stores a short walk away, and downtown Nelson right there. I have food allergies galore, and the Kootenay Co-op is minutes away by foot. All in all, my choice when I visit the region.

Excellent Accommodation in Nelson, BC!

We just had an excellent vacation staying at Mistiso's. It was perfectly located close to downtown, and an easy walk to the waterfront. The suite we stayed in was tastefully decorated and had everything we needed. I really got the impression that Maria put the needs of her guests first, and that every detail was carefully thought out. I would recommend Mistiso's without hesitation.

Great Place for a Getaway! :)

A perfect home away from home! Warm, cozy and only minutes walk from everything you could ever need. I stayed at Mistiso's place for a month and couldn't have felt more comfortable in my surroundings! Very clean and inviting. Can't wait to go back!

Great place to stay

We spent 4 nights in the Kokanee Suite. The suit is beautifully decorated and well lit. It has a gorgeous view of the mountain and the lake at a distance. It is clean and the sofa-bed was very comfortable, although a bit small (Good for a loving couple ;)). The place is close to restaurants and a large grocery store is just at the other side of the street. The kitchenette is very well equipped. There is even a blender for making cocktails! The staff are very friendly and helpful. It was our first time there, but we will certainly go back there! Strongly recommended.

What a great place to stay !!!

What a great place to stay !!! Mistiso’s is a GEM, a lovely place & wonderfully appointed. A beautiful house in a great location, Private, quiet, clean and relaxing environment, well-kept and close to everything. It has everything you need with all the amenities. The suite was awesome, absolutely adorable, good view to the lake and mountains, and cheerful decor. The bed is excellent, as good as in any five stars hotel, the bathroom is equipped with hair dryer, shampoo, soaps and luscious towels. It really exceeded my expectations. Great attention to detail, recycling carefully planned and well communicated. The entire stay has been a pleasure. I felt at home here. Very efficient Owner, Maria, keeps her tenants happy and she is behind every detail. I hope to make a return trip in the near future, I'm already recommending it to my friends and colleagues. I strongly recommend that you stay at mistiso's place when visiting Nelson, Thank you so much for everything. Diego from Calgary, AB.
