currently sitting in a 2017 kia soul i rented a couple hours ago and already has 2 problems with low tire pressure and the transmission not working anymore, leaving me and my girl friend stranded on the highway. never renting a car from here again.
U-Drive is the best car rental company I have ever dealt with by a large margin. Friendly and professional staff, excellent car selection and their prices are amazing. I have personally rented from them about 10 times now and I will never go anywhere else. Cannot recommend them enough.
Booked 2 vans 3 weeks before the date we wanted it. We reached there to pick up and 1 van wasnt available, other was wasnt cleaned. We had to go to other location and pick up an SUV. The worst part, the suv we got had faulty tires, we had to get them changed on the way to our journey, drove whole night on spare tires. Called few Tire shops to buy new one and changed. The guy who changed tires also said Front tires are gone too, car vibrated whole time while returning. Playing with someone life.
I flew into Winnipeg, no car reservation. 10 rental sales reps – all “sold out”! Asked why not round up more cars in Winnipeg day before? One woman rep quite rude. Hotel referred me to Udrive on McPhillips Street. Branch manager, Andrew, gave me exactly what I asked for (small economy for a day with max insurance coverage), for only $31, all inclusive! He was straight and easy about pickup/dropoff. Credit card charges exactly right. Honest, great deal. Thanks Andrew, U-drive!
I had a misunderstanding on my booking, so it started a little rocky. However, they went over and above to accommodate my next booking and make me a happy customer. I plan to keep renting with them.
I rented at this location twice, found the staff very welling to help courtesy, goop prices. got me on my way in only minutes. good work girls.
an older gentleman (mid 30)another time i rented at this location i parked in front of the wash bay (not seeing their sing) the same gentleman comes storming out and starts yelling at me saying i dont know how to read and that i cant park here, i asked where can i park because the front was full (including handicap spot which had a car in it that was clearly the owners it had donvito on it) not very impressed with this location.
Not too shabby. They come off as a bit rude but you save a ton of money. I'll mention the things they mess up on so you can plan for it. At the airport, don't wait for a shuttle because there is none. Take a unicity cab to their Sargent location and don't pay the drive, ask the u-drive staff member to pay the cab instead. And don't bother calling them for anything because they don't return your voice messages and your best bet is to call when someone is at the front desk.
