I have gone to the restaurant with friends, coworkers and my husband.
I love the avacado pizza, spicy avacado rolls, and the veggie soup. I was not a fan of the pad thai - it was not the best - the tofu tasted frozen thawed out.
Sushi is good - thai food not my preference.
Great place to take a date, friend or famly.
Bonus - No tax if you spend over $26.00 and pay cash ...awesome!
Quite a few of these boutique asian-fusion restaurant/take-out establishments opening in the new plazas in Ajax/Whitby area these days.
Tried this place with several friends when we just wanted something quick but good to eat one night.
Nice modern looking place for sure.
They have a fairly extensive menu with various japanese, chinese, thai, vietnamese dishes to choose from.
Food preparation was good. The only thing is... they appear to be sticklers for their menu...meaning if you want to substitute or alter anything, you either have to pay extra or they can't do it at all. Not the best focus on customer service.
Other than that, the group enjoyed the food.
Overall impression is that the food is fine, but they are not the best deal in town and their lack of flexibility and nickel and dime stance will not bode well in the long run.
My girlfriend and I have been frequenting Odines whenever possible. The atmosphere is great, food even better. The owner is constantly walking the restaurant to check-in with the customers - I find that very comforting and adding to their credibility. Will definitely be going back!
