Barrie Montessori & Elementary Private School

Had trouble communicating with the centre, didn’t respond to emails or calls. Managed to finally do a tour and left feeling very uncomfortable. Do your research, read what parents and especially past staff have to say. There are some good comments but far more people say it’s awful.

Treat children with no compassion. Staff is treated terribly. Horrible childcare.

I have sent both of my children to this school; my eldest attended from grades 3-5 and my youngest attended from CASA PS-SK. Both children greatly benefitted from the warmth of the teachers, the principal and the rest of the school community. Their academics improved greatly. Since leaving BMS my children often speak of fond memories of their time there. They have excelled in their current schooling, extracting from the confidence of their learning at Barrie Montessori School!
