DON'T EAT HERE My husband ordered dinner for me, Mothers day, I ordered Chicken Alfredo, how awful it was, no sauce what so ever but maybe a tablespoon, 3 very small pieces of chicken, the desert we ordered was 2 cheese cakes, but they didn't give us that either, they gave us beanutbutter cake, what if I was allergic, and they only gave one cake. We tried to call but no one would answer the phone and we tried for hours. We paid for the two cheese cakes as well. My husband picked the order up

Food was terrible, soup was sad watered down

The waitress served us the food and we never saw her again. We asked for another salad but we never get .also we were trying to find any waitress to get the kids ketchup and desserts but no one was available even it was slow night.

love the lunches

when i was working at the mall i would often come to East Sides for lunch, always enjoyed the food there, service was sometimes slack, and they seem very busy and at times understaffed. but the food i found was delicious, and flavorful, and i still come for the lunches when i can.

Bland and Slow

East Side's meals out of a bag concept is simply not working. I remember the days of quality food that was actually cooked by someone in the kitchen. The $19 dollar "special" was bland and without flavour, service was slow (an hour and a half for lunch) and overall I wouldn't recommend going back, I know I won't.

The apps were good, as was the Caesar salad and bread. My chicken Marsala was gross. Instead of a chicken breast, I got 2 breaded chicken fingers, or so it seemed to me. The veggies weren't cooked at all. My husband's steak was supposed to be medium rare, but the steak was so paper thin, they cooked it to medium well. The service was good, though.

I love this place. You can't beat the house salad. The food and atmosphere are also great, however there are a few seats which are really poor, some almost sit you in the washroom the other sits you in the kitchen

A dreadful experience. Got seated right away, but were then ignored while later arrivals were served. Complained to the hostess who offered to take our order. She said they had run out of Italian Wedding soup (at 12.15 lunchtime???) We re-ordered but then waitress showed up and said there was some soup "left over". Our food arrived, only one breadstick between us even though 2 of us ordered the "trio". Were then told this restaurant doesn't do the "unlimited" soup salad and bread. Tuscan Club had no turkey and one undercooked slice of bacon. No drink refills till we had finished eating. Waitress was ok but hostess was disinterested and rather curt. Never again!!! No wonder the place was almost empty.

Great Spot

Food was tasty and represented good value. Staff were polite, efficient and courteous. Will definitely be back

My dad used to bring me to East Side's ever since I was little and we've always loved it. The food is always great, the atmosphere is entertaining, and the service is great too. Last time, I had a male server, not sure his name, but he was tall with a shaved head, and he was great! He was nice, and joked around. It was really a great time. I will be back.

simply revolted

I called six hours ahead to make a reservation as we were coming out of town Crystal took the reservation for 12 people as it was our goddaughter's birthday. She asked for my cell phone # but at 8:00 pm as was the time for the reservation, it was given to a party of 10 not even confirming the name! Then we sat down to order and were advised right away that there was no caesar salad (what am I doing here?) the kids under 10 on Monday nights eat for free there were 4 kids and they ran out of chicken buddies, they charged me for one child. We asked for napkins at least 5 times non were brought. The girl who served us was also quite rude- forgot her name. Blonde with round glasses Hoiday Civic Monday August 4. Then when she told us that there was no caesar salad she was willing to give us more bread DUH it comes with UNLIMITED bread. When we had paid for our meal she stood there patiently waiting for a tip. The people that we were with had paid but my goodness she would not have gotten one penny from me. PATHETIC image for this franchise. MANAGERS AND OWNERS ARE YOU NOT AWARE OF YOUR STAFF- MAYBE YOU SHOULD STICK AROUND MORE OFTEN AND PAY ATTENTION............................................................................UNPLEASED, REVOLTED, DISGUSTED

The salad was great, but the pasta was awful! The meatballs tasted like plastic. We had a great waiter, who joked and was nice and enthusiastic. If it was the same waiter, Then I might return. If not, well...>:(

This is a 'mall' restaurant. It's a great place to stop if you are hungry after shopping. I would not go there otherwise. The service is really hit-and-miss. (I have been there 4 or 5 times in the past 3 weeks because I am staying in a nearby hotel.) If your waiter is a guy, walk out. They are all terrible. The girls are far more on the ball and much more attentive to people with children. I will go back, but only when the kids pester me for it. You can't get away from requests for ESM and the 'treasure chest' if you have kids. Make sure they bring it!

We were seated and promptly forgotten about. After 10 minutes, and in light of previous bad experiences at this location, we got up and left. I notified the hostess who briefly looked up from her gab fest with one of the servers to vaguely say "sorry about that". Brutal service. Never again.

This restaurant is my most favourite than other restaurants because I love their pasta sauce of spicy and casear salad, mmmm so delicious to eat there and would come by everyday, kidding. The servers were great, went to one of places in Cornwall and the servers were lousy and misunderstanding like third times when I wanted to order the penne pasta but they brought me the angel hair pasta that I dislike, I stayed for another hour to wait to cook. Belleville East Side Mario's is the best ever I been to!
