My furnace died Friday night I called all weekend and never got a return call or email worst experience with costumer service ever!,
As a customer of OEG who inherited the service when buying a house I want to tell anyone reading this to NEVER EVER consider obtaining products or services from them. They left me with no AC in 35 degree temperatures for nearly two weeks. I was told to find my own AC contractor & pay for it myself. They are unable to provide the service I contracted from them and to cancel the agreement would cost $7000 for them to remove equipment that is 5 years old! They also put a lien on the house!
They do not answer phones, this is the second time in the last few months we have had a problem, last time it took 4 days and over 40 calls just for sme one to tell me I must have been calling the wrong number they always have some one to answer the phone, we discovered another problem last night I have water leaking from furnace 3 phone calls and 1 email and no one contacts us...this company has got us screwed as they put you in a contract that unless you pay more then the equipment is worth
My technician from OEG was very polite, personable, and intelligent. He made some suggestions that I could use to keep my air conditioner in excellent running condition for the summer.
Ontario Energy Group services my furnace, and ive had two repairs on it over the last year. I got a GM95 gas furnace from them on a very good rental deal. Sometimes its kind of frustrating because their phone lines go straight to answering instead of picking up, so I have to call 4 or5 times before I can get someone. My advice is to make sure youre very clear when you need service, or you might not get service that day.
I live out in the sticks and after I inherited my parent’s place, I got tired of buying oil to heat my furnace in the winter. My parents always refused to upgrade but when Ontario energy group came to offer an upgrade to gas, i knew a gas furnace would be great The rep couldnt help me arrange the hookup, but their customer service helped me settle it. Im paying half of what I did for heating after ditching my oil system. Air is cleaner, less smoggy in my basement, and im saving on my bills.
I really don't like people knocking at my door, but Sean was upfront about our options. We were given the option of doing a rental plan or buying a unit from a competitor altogether. He gave us the pros and cons of each, and didn’t pressure us to pick one. Once we decided to go with a rental, ontario energy group arranged an inspection and pick up for the next day. I usually slam the door on salespeople, but this guy was blunt and to the point. Wouldn’t have bought a thing if it was anyone else.
