Superior Propane

expensive and unreliable .

I was a loyal (stupid) customer since 2004. Always paid my bills on time and trusted that I was getting industry rates. My last bill in Jan 2019 was at $1.23/L. One of the guys at work stated his last propane bill went up - to $0.66/L. A little research showed Id been overcharged for years compared to other local suppliers - on rental fees and inspections as well! Superior said I was on their (ahem) floating rate. SHOP around every year, check your prices, dont rely upon trust. Terrible.

I have never had the misfortune of dealing with such a bad company, $180 inspection fee compared with my new providers $5 !!! $240 tank removal fee ( because I went with a different provider that has substantially lower rates per litre) 1-800 line that takes forever to actually speak to someone ( unless your potentially a new customer.. then they answer quick ) Research your rates and other hidden charges carefully....stay away from Superior!

This is 4:00 pm Monday afternoon. I have left phone messages since Saturday morning and still have not received a call back from at least three calls. I attended Superior Propane on Main St., W., North Bay this morning to find the Superior Propane agent not present. I left another phone message but still no answer. I did not leave a rating because that is the rating they deserve. Nothing.
