Hilary Bregman still remembers the first time she shopped at a vintage store. “My sister took me to Courage My Love when I was 10. I got a peace sign silver ring,” Hilary says with a laugh, remembering that she still has the same ring. Her collection of vintage clothing and wares has since grown significantly. She has been buying and selling vintage for years, at first through trade shows and out of her own apartment, then in 2013, Hilary opened Monarch Vintage, a quaint shop in the increasingly trendy intersection of Bloor and Ossington.
