Celebrate Mom with the fabulous restaurants.

Quanto Basta Enoteca

1
1112 Yonge St, Toronto ON M4W 2L6

On Sunday, May 10th, celebrate Mom with the well-heeled at Quanto Basta. Mother’s Day Bunch in Rosedale, fine dining Italian fare, and those flowers you picked up on the way? It’s simple, yet so perfect.

Katsura Japanese Restaurant

2
900 York Mills Rd, North York ON M3B 3H2

Brunch is a popular choice for Mother’s Day, but what about dinner instead? Katsura is offering two Mother's Day prix fixe menus this holiday Sunday. The main dining prix fixe menu features a main course of gindara (black cod) with shrimp and vegetable tempura, while the teppan menu features sirloin, chicken, black tiger shrimp and teppanyaki-style vegetables. Either way, Mom will be impressed.

Mariposa Cruises

It’s supposed to be beautiful on Sunday, so take Mom out on the lake. And while this isn’t technically a restaurant, with new Executive Chef Damien Wlodarczyk now at the helm, it kind of is. From an appearance on MasterChef Canada to a modernization of the menus (think dinner with beer can chicken, kale salad, and flambeed ouzo-marinated shrimp skewers), this is cruising in style. Mariposa Cruises' Mother's Day Brunch Cruise aboard the Northern Spirit includes a two-hour cruise on the Toronto harbour and a fresh buffet brunch.

One of the best ways to spend a summer evening is to catch a show.
