Edmonton Downtown Dining Week takes place from March 10 to 19, 2017 at a variety of fantastic restaurants. For 10 days only, sample multi-course meals at some of downtown’s best restaurants for jaw-dropping prices. Take some time out of your busy schedule to indulge in a special lunch for only $15 at one of these spots.
Previously featured on a list of Canada’s best 100 restaurants, Rostizado serves top-notch cuisine. For a first course, enjoy sopa de fideos with housemade tomato sauce and chicken broth with pulled rotisserie pollo and fideos. Then, for a second course, choose from three delectable options including pulled chicken in a salsa verde, a pressed beef sandwich or house-made warm sweet corn cake.
The Common is a popular place to hang out and grab a bite or listen to some music at night. But, did you know they’re also open for lunch? For their Downtown Dining Week two-course lunch, dive into a kabocha squash soup with pumpkin seeds and chives. For the second course, enjoy cashew paella or a petit fillet of beef.
The two-course meal includes an entrée and dessert, meaning you’re sure to leave stuffed and completely satisfied. Choose between pollo cacciatore or risottino four-cheese formaggi. For dessert, enjoy house-made chestnut and amaretto mousse with salty caramel sauce and fresh strawberry.
While there is only one choice for a starter dish, there are six (!) choices for the entrée. It'll be easy enough to start your meal off with a hearty bowl of roasted butternut squash soup. The tough part is choosing between all the entrée options: an open-faced prime rib sandwich, farmhouse chicken salad, the Chop burger, Chop salad, the Carolina club or the roasted mushroom ravioli.
