Whether it’s your ethics, the environment, supporting a loved one, or partaking in meatless Mondays that has you searching for a herbivore meal, there are a variety of restaurants in Edmonton to satisfy all taste buds. These vegetarian spots feature cuisines from around the world.
This vegetarian Asian-fusion restaurant promotes healthy and delicious foods for all. The gado-gado is a refreshing Indonesian salad with the most amazing peanut sauce salad dressing. The spicy coconut eggplant is the perfect amount of spice, and the Padmanadi curry mutton is prepared with their proprietary yellow coconut curry and is also wheat-free.
It’s not an actual vegan restaurant but they do have a dedicated vegan night each month where all they serve is dishes made without meat or animal byproducts. This buffet-style Indian restaurant also has many vegetarian and vegan dishes every other night of the month, plus it allows you to enjoy all the Indian dishes your little heart (or stomach) desires.
They’ve been serving amazing vegetarian and vegan dishes since 2010. Their wonton soup is delish. They have their own veggie meats that will fool even the most outspoken carnivores, such as soy beef with mango, imperial chicken (Kung Pao chicken), sweet and sour pork. Oh, and they sell pre-packaged frozen meals (equally delish) so you can have them any time at home.
This vegetarian and vegan waterhole serves up some amazing food. The spaghetti and meatballs (with a kick) make me happy on a cold Edmonton night. And, their burgers make me want to oink out. The veggie burger is pretty much a burger with traditional condiments, while the taro uno is something out of this world.
