My son recommended Downes for my husbands truck, I took in my Grand Am GT and they gave me a very honest opinion. Now I am taking in my new to me 2006 Toyota Avalon for an opinion on the reliability of this new car. Our family all go to Downes so, we all would recommend them.

I cant say enough about how awesome the staff are at Downes. They made my day today when I brought my sons car in to get some issues sorted out. I highly recommend this shop. I have had my truck in a couple of years ago as well for a radiator replacement and they were super quick and fair price. Thank you guys!!

Excellent service from courteous and knowledgeable staff. They talk in plain English explaining any query and show you exactly any problems, even down to drawing simple diagrams. I have been using Downes Automotive for about five years after being recommended by a mechanic who was retiring from another garage. I cannot praise the reception staff and mechanics any more than brilliant.

This is the place to go for all Females, was shown and told what was wrong with my car without feeling intimidated. He also told me what to expect for future repairs. Felt very at home, the office was very clean, complementary coffee & tea and a TV to pass the time. Was offered a courtesy car but the Meadowtown Centre Mall is in walking distance. I will be recommending this place to everyone I know, very reasonable rates and treated with respect. Thank you!!
