Great place great food served hot and friendly staff
I spent almost two months on a communications contract in Cambodia a number of years ago and learned to love real Chinese cuisine. Back in Canada immediately afterwards, I could not easily stomach North American cooking and went to China King for the first time. I survived the transition because of their authentic Asian cooking and have settled on their style ever since at least a dozen times a year for the past 23 year! Thank you to Sean and his Father.
I would give this restaurant 6 stars if i could. This is by far the best chinese food that i've ever had. We even drive in from Hamilton to dine in. Recommend the Moo Shu Chicken and Beef /w Black Bean Sauce - they know how to do beef here!
I have not eaten at China King, but have ordered take-out many times in the last year and a half, once delivery, and have found the service and food to be extraordinary. I always laugh a little when I look at bad reviews -> have to wonder what people ordered. The food is fresh and plentiful. If you order a lot of deep fried and greasy stuff, that's what you'll get. If you order lovely stir-frys and fresh veggies and meat, you will never be disappointed!
The first time my husband and I went we loved it! The food was good and the service was great! The second time we went I didn't enjoy it as much. I am not sure if it was the quality of the food or the fact that they guy next to us was smoking a cigar. Made my stomach turn and its hard to ride a bike with gut rot!
