Ambiance was nice enough, but service was poor. Took 15 minutes before anyone came to see us. Very busy because it was wing night although the restaurant didn't look that busy. Only 2 waitresses for the whole restaurant. Finally a 3rd showed up later. Our order was taken a 1/2 hr. later. I had their wings which were delicious. My wife had chicken souvlaki dinner. She said the chicken was dry and rice pilaf was like mush. The best part of her dinner was the greek salad. If we go back it will be for wings only.
I have visited this restaurant quite a few times. I used to love the food but the last few times I have been disappointed. The service has been good but I feel like the food was not worth the $ I was charge. I emailed them but got no response the first time I had a complaint. We just came back from their all you can eat "brunch". To me this was more a breakfast buffet not a brunch. At 11.99 for adults and 7.99 for kids it was not a very good deal. The eggs were cold and the bacon was under cooked. The chicken didn't look very appealing. The best thing was the penne. At what we were charge I am glad I had 2 helpings. My husband said we didn't think it was a very good value and the waitress brushed it off saying other places charge 13.99. To me that was not a very good response. We are locals so anyone who asks me about the Station is going to get an honest review. Avoid the Station. I have other local restaurants I would rather recommend. I gave them a fair chance and was disappointed every time. This is a place for tourists who don't know any better.
We live a few blocks away from this restaurant and eat there a few times a year. We've found the food to be inconsistent in quality but always plentiful.
The staff and service is usually quite good and the atmosphere is pretty good too.
I was disappointed that the Prime Rib dinner I ordered last visit turned out to be a prime rib steak instead of the expected roasted beef.
This place is beautiful. Great food and prices. Just east of Peterborough and well worth the short drive. Everytime we are in the area, this is the only place we will eat at! See for your self.
