Called to order, ...
Called to order, no one would answer, then someone just picked up and hung up, good way to lose business. I order all the time, not anymore.

Alright, this place looks not so good. I admit it. However, the food is very well put together, hot, fast and tasty. The price is excellent. For takeout who cares what it looks like inside? Go and enjoy the food.
This place actually has two names, Yee's and 'Al's Pizza'. I haven't really ordered any of the Chinese food before, but here's the secret - PIZZA ROLLS!!! They are like egg rolls but instead they're full of whatever pizza toppings you want. They ask you what you want in them and make them right there in front of you. They are to dieeee for I love them, and they are SO cheap only like $2.25. I've never come across anything like this at any other restaurant, so it keeps me coming back. Al is such a nice guy too, so friendly and always remembers my face. The sauce that comes with the chicken wings is amazing, its like sweet and sour sauce mixed with medium wing sauce or something, I don't know but I love it.
I stayed away from Yee's because the place looked a little suspect. But I was surprised when we ordered the food - it was good and maybe the best Canadian Chinese that we have had in Peterborough. The owners are very friendly!
I picked up my food and so, didn't eat in. I don't know what the people coming from Toronto are talking about. This is typical small city Canadian Chinese food. It was better than many of the places in town. If you want Chinatown style, you won't find it most places. The service was good, they were polite and fast, the food is, as I said, acceptable given what it is and the place was relatively clean. If you're going to pick up your food, watch the parking as they only have one spot and there are very few other parking places around it. Good overall.
This review is for Al's and Yee's. This place is sweet. The owner knows us by name now, the burgers are just so damn good. And they have everything, subs, pizza, chinese, burgers, and the pop and smokes special. It's open hella late which is perfect. I love this joint to death. You can't get much better then a fresh burger at 3am and staff that brings out your food while you smoke on the benches. Everyone should go here and support the Al's family they are a great bunch. Remember though: Tuesday is family day, so they are closed. Al's is way ahead of the Canadian Gov't on that.
I have avoided this place because from the outside it looks like a greasy hole-in-the-wall. But I was SOOO wrong! The veggies were crisp, the chicken was all white meat, no fat; no msg; everything was cooked right on the spot when I ordered... I keep hearing there is no good chinese food in Pb.but this is IT!!! If you want healthy, affordable, friendly, fresh food, eat here!
