Awesome Food

Love the food - it is really really good and always fresh. The service takes time so you need to know that before you go and be prepared to be patient. It is worth the wait and the servers are very friendly and helpful. The only down side to this restaurant is the atmosphere. It they would dim the lights, add a little Italian music in the background, get more comfortable tables and chairs and remove the tiles from the walls that cause the echo which makes it very noisy, they would have a 5 star place and the absolute best restaurant in Ottawa. They could open a franchise- the food is that good.

This is a Gem

An out of the way little house that looks like a local take out pizza joint. Walk in and there are a few tables. Sit down and order and get some of the best Italian food I have had in Ottawa. Ask what the special is, you never know. We stared wit a sausage appetizer that is to die for, flavorful and spiced just right. There were 6 of us so we all ordered different things and tried each others. There was not a loser in the bunch. Skip the insalata, it is just greens on a plate. The veal picatta was outstanding and the pastas were great. Get the house wine, the night we were there it was a very good valpolicella. You will need reservations here very soon, best to call before had anyway.

Oh my goodness. Go check out this place. I go weekly but they had been closed for a couple of weeks over the holidays for renovations. Frank and Pat outdid themselves when they renovated. It is beautifull. Very elegant and modern with still a touch of the same Pizarros that I have come to know and love . The food is still excellent and the prices are fantastic. You won't find a better place to dine. Go check it out

Best italian food in town

We've been going to Pizzaro's for at least 8 years, the food is exceptional, the service excellent and everyone are very polite with their guests. The food is always hot, fresh and tasty. Very well presented. The zuchinnis are to die for, everyone that I've brought to this wonderful restaurant tell me that they keep going back. Kudos to Pizzaro's

The best in town!

I've been going to Pizzaro's for over 10 years on a monthly basis, and never, ever have I been disappointed. Its the best!!!!
