Birthday dinner for my wife and had our two grown children. Great service and food. The desserts are also very good. Try the dessert for two it won't disappoint.
We took my husband's brother from Saskatoon on Thursday for dinner in June & it was busy. We had to wait on the patio for a few minutes for our table. The food was very good.
I have been about a dozen times and never disappointed. Whether it's for lunch, dinner or a group function.
Was here for lunch on this visit, while everything was top-notch I wasn't thrilled with the portion size I ordered. I try different things each time and this time was the "BLT". The sandwich was terrific, but somewhat smaller then I anticipated. Wasn't too thrilled on the presentation, but after all it's a sandwich and fries. I would recommend if possible increase the size or height of the sandwich and reduce the amount of fries. The sandwich was about 1.5 inches in height, kinda small for a BLT and the fries were served in a bowl, so, the perception was a small sandwich. Either increase the sandwich height or serve the fries on the plate or a much shallower bowl.
This is always my top place to go with co-workers and friends. Tried it once with my family; didn't work out so well, maybe because the decor is more chic than cozy. If you are just looking for good food, you can get a lot better food in town with less money you would spend here. This is the place for impressive service, upscale decor and a wonderful overall dining experience! (Not to mention the hot waiters and waitresses.)
I don't get the food anyone who actually cares about flavors in food will not enjoy this place the beer is great, Service is good, I guess maybe I've been to many good places Toronto, L.A., NYC, Vegas. If I owned this place I'd be proud of the Atmosphere and the Service but would get a new chef, I love to see this place on Zagat to say the least!
My boyfriend and I have dined at Wildcraft on several occasions - each time a great dining experience. No disappointments here. Pleasant ambiance, clean restaurant, professional staff and great quality food every time.
Limp fries, wrong order, slow service. Is it that difficult to remember 2 entrees? The restaurant was not that busy and we sat in the bar areas. Previous trips I had had mixed results also. This is one place I will not be revisiting.
I went to this restaurant to celebrate a friend's birthday, and all aspects of the restaurant just blew me away. All of the food I had was absolutely amazing, one of the best steaks I ever had. I shared some appetizers with others that weren't quite as great, but nonetheless the steak and desert made up for it. :) The atmosphere was top-notch, and the decor of the restaurant, especially the washroom area just blew my mind. The service was just great, all of the food came at the right time, and our server was one of the best we ever had. I would highly recommend this place to anyone for any sort of special occasion, or even just for a classy night out.
We've come here for our first and second anniversaries and on a few other occasions. We've never been disappointed. Service is always excellent and the food is incredible. You can't go wrong with any of their steaks!
Very clean and elegant place, fantastic food and very professional service. We really enjoyed our 2 hours visit there. I recomend this place to every one..............
The food tastes amazing and is presented even better! The environment is quite classy and has a two story wine rack as the center of attention as you enter. The price range I set above is for a classier meal I had, however, can vary depending on whether you have steak and desert. All friends and family I have taken here have loved it. If you do go, I MUST recommend the baked white chocolate cheesecake for desert...you will not find anything like it anywhere else.
This was my second time going to Wildcraft. I really liked it before and had a chance to go again for lunch. It was really busy for a Wednesday lunch, but service was still timely and welcoming. Food came out quickly and was superb! I had the pear and plum salad with mushroom fusilli as my entree. I liked the pasta sauce so much I asked if they could give me the recipe, which they did!
Will definitely be going back to Wildcraft sometime soon.
My husband and I went to Wildcraft for our one year anniversary this evening.
I have to say it was the best dining experience of my life ( I am 30, lol). We were given complimentary champange to celebrate our anniversary. The service was amazing, the atmosphere was beautiful, we were sat by the fireplace, it was lovely.
Our apps, were delishious and came to us in a timely manner. My husband ordered the prime rib burger and still hasn't stopped talking about it, lol. I orded the walnut crusted chicken, it was so tender, I didn't even need a knife. The portion sizes are perfect. Dessert was so delicious, I can't want to go back and try it all. My husband enjoyed his cheescake lollipops while I devoured my warm peanut butter chocolate cake. MMM.
I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. Oh and even the bathrooms are stunning. really, stunning.
We cannot wait to go back.

I've been hearing a lot of buzz about Wildcraft for a while, but I never got the opportunity to try it out. My friends finally dragged me out to it and I was a little skeptical about it at first because of some of the reviews I'd seen. That made it even better when I finally experienced it!
Service was fast and friendly, got us our drinks quickly and had a real professional feel. Didn't take long for our apps to come out, I had the Mediterranean Chicken Flatbread and it was delicious, everyone else had good things to say. We all ordered steaks for our entrees which were delicious, the Yukon fries that come with are to DIE for with the chipotle aioli.
After all that we didn’t want much for dessert, our waitress suggested their lollipops.. They come in many flavours (I had skor) and are filled with cheesecake, perfect for a small and easy dessert.
Don’t pass this place up!! We had a great meal, will definitely be going back
What a disappointing meal.
The food consistency obviously went out the window when it got busy. My lamb was cooked to a medium-well when I asked for it rare. The caesar salad was also missing parmesan cheese.
The service was alright. Our server was slow, but was friendly and polite. She forgot to bring condiments for the W Burger and a steak knife for the lamb, however.
The thing that always brings us back is the amazing atmosphere. Sitting in the W bar is a casual, trendy experience.
For the price, I would expect better taste. Friends took me to this restaurant for my birthday. Service was nice and they also have a good selection of wine. For dinner I had roasted chicken. Portions are smaller than usual (no bang for your buck here) and my chicken was dry and lacked flavour. I couldn't complain because my friends covered the meal. Overall I was disappointed with the food and I'd rather go to a smaller mom and pop kind of restaurant instead.
This is a trendy local bar/restaurant that caters to a young crowd. If you are looking for a quiet place to eat, this isn't it. It is packed and noisy and service is spotty. The appetizers were very good. Calamari was great. I don't remember what they were called, but they had pizza-like items that were superb. However, it is a pretty expensive place, and it is more about socializing and hooking up than it is about eating.
The place seemed nice enough, but the wait staff treated us more like an inconvenience than a valued customer. They weren't able to get our order right the first time, and the food was good (especially the goat cheese!) but way over priced!
The dessert we had, which was the evening special, was awful. I'm not big on desserts, but four tiny slices of peach and a playing card-sized piece of pastry seemed a little sparse and it didn't have much flavour.
I did like the atmosphere, but didn't feel welcome or wanted there.
My partner and I had plans for a nice dinner for two, and were just thrilled with our experience at Wildcraft. We had no complaints about the service, our waitress Melissa was attentive and quite friendly, especially as the dessert menu had just come in that night, so when she wasn't sure about one of the dishes, she inquired from the kitchen and came back to us. All of the food was fabulous and above expectations, given that we've eaten out at nice restaurants several times. My favourite were the escargot, which were just lightly battered and came in a wonderful, slightly spicy sauce, as well as the lamb wellington, which was wonderfully tender. All in all, I felt the quality of the food was quite excellent for the price of the meal.
