Craving a hearty British or Scottish meal? Put your passport away and look no further than White Heather Scottish Bakery in downtown Whitby.
After immigrating to Canada from Scotland in 1972, Frank Woods Sr. started White Heather Scottish Bakery in 1974. For over twenty years, the bakery served the Markham & Eglinton area before moving to Whitby in 1999. In 2011, Frank Woods Jr. took over the business. Since then, he has continued to provide the exceptional customer service and delicious food that has kept the family business going for decades.
Offering customers traditional British and Scottish food, White Heather Scottish Bakery prides itself on its hearty dishes. “Every dish we offer smells amazing. Between that and the music, walking into our bakery is like walking into a local store in small-town England or Scotland,” explains Frank. “No matter what you order, you definitely won’t be hungry when you’re finished.”
