The call centre is ridculous. Called to inquire about pricing, sizes, and availability. The woman was extremely pushy and wanted to get my credit card right off the bat. Horrible!!
Tried to get their help with hitch wiring done at another Uhaul. Tried calling call centre and going in in person. They never got back to me. When I finally brought the vehicle there, first they told me their guy was booked up all summer, spoke negatively of other Uhaul. I offered to pay for mechanics time rather than warranty - they were just defensive.
Worst Customer Service EVER! Went in to buy moving supplies their debit machine was not working, after 6 tries the customer service guy starting yelling at me like it was my fault! Awful, awful services!
I recently rented a truck for one day from the 51 Avenue location in Edmonton. I returned the truck (after-hours) with more gasoline than the vehicle had when I took it off the lot. Upon checking my Mastercard statement, I was shocked to find out that I was unjustly charged an additional $75 fee. I phoned them and they insisted that I had not refueled the truck, when in fact I drove a mere 30 miles and put $13.00 worth of fuel in the tank -- more than I would have used in driving 30 miles. I dealt with two separate customer service reps over the phone to contest the extra charge. They fell on deaf ears and said I had "an attitude". Both customer service reps hung up on me. They were rude, unprofessional, and were the ones who displayed negative behavior towards me. The service I experienced left much to be desired. I will never use their services again. This is my third bad experience with U-Haul and it will be the last. DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE. THEY ARE DISHONEST, IRRESPONSIBLE, AND IRREPUTABLE. An irate Sherwood Park resident.
