Never had such a good-sized halibut berore. Both halibut and cod were lightly battered, even we didn't ask for it. Coleslaw was fresh and cool. Everything was great, we really enjoyed.
The server couldn't speak English well, however, she was smiling all the time, and tried to serve with her best effort.
Most of all, I liked that they use trans-fat free vegetable oil.
Compared to the reviewer below, I had great service and the meal was great. Coleslaw is served with all fish meals. The fish batter is thin and not too oily and the chips are fresh. Great place - will return
Ordered food for take out. Order taker did not speak English very well. Extremely hard to understand her. I found it quite expensive for lunch, the halibut and salad was over $12. The salad came already dressed with "house dressing" without asking.
No cole slaw or anything served with the other lunch, just fish and the chips. Portion size was ok, but you
might expect more with the prices.
The menu board was written in chalk and hard to understand, they have no printed menus. Extremely greasy.

Okay if you like fish and chips this is the place for you! Not a fancy place by any stretch, but the fish is amazing, very simple menu and bare bones decor, but the price is decent and the food and portion size is terrific, and the steady stream of customer while we dine there is testament enough! Try the Halibut!!
