It gets better and better

Although I've always enjoyed East Coast Fish & Chips (along with everyone else in my family), they seem to get better and better! I went in for lunch this past week alone (Wednesday) and had their lunch special (fried) with rice rather than chips. The rice was superb! And the fish was nice and crispy on the outside and fresh on the inside. Perfect for a cool Autumn afternoon. And although a Fish and Chips place, their pie is incredible. That day I got the coconut cream. WOW! Truly, they could make a business on their pies alone! The service (as usual) was friendly and great. And the owners are always there as well. They had fresh flowers on the table and the atmosphere made you feel you were at home. It was filling, relaxing and I can't wait to go back!

Simply Wonderful!

Our server was a sweet young girl (possibly the owner's daughter?) who was very kind and went out of her way to answer all of our questions. We were all quite pleased with the Greek salad as well as the fish and sides we ordered. My husband had the fish and chips, my father-in-law ordered his breaded with the rice and my mother-in-law had the grilled with the rice. I had the battered fish and the rice. All were exceptional quality and quantity. Although we were all quite stuffed, knowing that the pie was homemade, we ordered some. My husband and I split the Raspberry (ala mode) and my in-laws split the strawberry-rhubarb. We all agreed that we had had possibly the best pie we had ever tried! We told the owner and his wife after (who are truly 2 of the nicest people we know and who are dedicated to their restaurant as well as their customers). And, being that I'm pregnant and expecting, I noted their original yet highly functional changing table in the ladies washroom and we're going to try and make something like it at home. I highly recommend this restaurant!

The best fish n chips I've ever had

So this was the best fish and chips i have had! It was nice to get my fish grilled with the rice and salad rather than the chips. It was by fa the best greek salad I have ever had. My partner had the battered Haddock and the batter was very nice and light. The chips were just right, home cut. It was also nice that it was licensed with beer and wine. The service was good. Nice waitresses and the owners were also very nice. Nice appreance on the inside. Overall it was a very excellent meal!

This place has the best fish and chips I've ever...

This place has the best fish and chips I've ever had. We have become regular customers and love the variety they have. They also are happy to grill your fish and the fries are homemade. The poutine is made with cheese curds and the desserts are also very tasty. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a good meal.

This is one of the best fish n chip places I've...

This is one of the best fish n chip places I've been to. It was my Mother's favorite place in town, she introduced my sister and I to it. This is the first Mother's day we are going there without her, as she passed away in Aug '07. She always thought so highly of everyone there, as do we, and I can't think of a better place place to be on Mother's Day.
