We've been to the Niagara Falls location a couple of times and decided to check out the new one in St. Catharines for my wife's birthday. She likes the Falls location because they have good options for her gluten free diet and the staff are knowledgeable about celiac. The building is great, old factory gutted and refurbished, inside and out. The atmosphere inside was good and the place seems huge. Our waiter seemed a bit nervous and awkward, maybe asked too many questions instead of letting us look at the menu and order. A couple of times it seemed like the waiter never heard our drink orders and we had to wait until the next time he came back to re-order them. Food was good and reasonably priced. I thought my calzone could have been better. It was a bit doughy and not as good as others I've had. The place is new and maybe they haven't worked all the kinks out yet. Pasta dishes and lasagna were all good. My wife did find one normal linguine noodle in her gluten free, rice pasta, and for some reason they served her a piece of garlic bread on top, but we were having a good time and she didn't want to complain. Some things they need to work on but they are new here and we will try them again at least once.
