I was very disappointed wtih our latest dinner experience at P + M. From the onset, it was problematic and it continued throughout the meal. Our margarittas had too much lime in them. The mussels had too much of a hot spice in it and my mushroom chicken penne,(a signature dish of P + M ) had sat so long that it was dry. I pointed this out to the waitress who removed it and returned with the dish dripping in sauce. We had not finished out appitizers and our entres were presented. My husband was not offered any cheese or pepper with his seafood portofino and the waitress threw our take out on table and rushed off to deal with someone at the kitchen doors. I will be speaking with the manager today and hopefully this will not happen again. This is not the norm but it is enough to make me think twice if we will ever dine there again.
Without a doubt my rib eye steak was cooked to perfection. I"m always hesitant to order a steak in a restaurant because of previous experiences. I highly recommend the steak...the pasta is amazing too! The staff are very friendly and extremely aware of your needs. You can always count on an amazing meal!
Just for you folks who may have never had the pleasure of eating at this fabulous establishment, DO IT!! You will not regret it! First off, the cesar salad is by far the best I've ever had and coming from the wife of a certified chef, that says alot! The services is impeccable and the food is always right on the money. As with any restraunt, there are always opportunities for things to happen, and if they do , they are quick to fix it! I would reccommend this restraunt to anyone who lives in Sudbury and most deffinately to anyone who might be visiting! Way to go P&M!!
I took my Boyfriend out for dinner for his Birthday last night and we had a wonderful evening. Personally, Pat & Marios never dissapoints. We found a close parking spot right away as always and we didn't wait long to be seated. The hostess seated us and then our waiter took our drink order. He was very nice. The manager came over to tell us we had been seated in a reserved area by accident. So we got free desert to go. Dinner was served so quick my boyfriend said "wow that was fast" and it was delicious. Great dinner, service was excellent, can't wait to go back. Our favourite place for a guaranteed romantic everning. Oh I almost forgot to mention that the chocolate explosion desert with whip cream on the side was amazing!
Well, we meet at the restaurant for 6pm. The hostess seats us, after we show her where our group was. Waitress takes our drink order, after a short while she comes back to take our order. No one ordered appetizers, so I thought our food would arrive alot quicker then it did. No one was impressed by this time. It seemed that people were arriving after us and leaving before us. Another waitress comes out with 2 pasta dishes, shortly after to realize it was given to the wrong table, she took it back after a quarter of it, was eaten. We waited longer as they had to prepare new dishes I guess. When the food was finally ready, they had 3 waitresses coming out with it. One of the waiters ended up tilting one of the plates, and the juices (fish) from that plate ended up falling on the top of my daughter's head and shirt. A good thing the liquid wasn't hot as it would've burnt her. I was going to complain about it but my dad beat me to it. He was very upset this happened. He spoke to the manager, who in turn gave a free desert to compensate for this. I think the waiter had too many dishes on his arms and couldn't handle it. The fries with the fish were overdone, we had to re-order new ones and they weren't any better but were hot, and my chicken was too salty. During dinner you can tell the staff was talking about our table, as they kept looking our way and it seemed they were also laughing in a discreet kind of way. Some of us were not impressed. We almost didn't leave a tip, to find out they've already added it to the bill. My brother was also there, he is getting married in July, and was going to have a dinner party there with about 30-40 people but this unfortunate event has made him change his mind.
