This is a wonderful auto repair shop! The staff is friendly and extremely knowledgeable. They went our of their way to accommodate me in their schedule and they took care of my problem quickly. Really great people over at Doc's... I wish I lived in town so I could make them my regular mechanic!

I am not sure what the problem is with Acslater's review above but it is VERY FAR from being accurate or the truth. No disrespect but I am sure they will not miss one person's business because these guys are extremely friendly, very professional, have fair pricing, knowledgeable and are very honest. I recommend this place in a heart beat.

Called to make an appointment for an etest, after talking on the phone and settling on a time for the next day I got a call back with an opening for that afternoon, I showed up an hour early and it was taken in right away! Brought my 2010 in for recall service with low expectations. It took a few days longer than I liked but my expectations were exceeded. They did 2 recalls, one for airbag {takata) and the other the ABS brake flush. They never tried to upsell me and did a good job on my car. I wish they would call to update more, but it is easy enough to call them, they don't hesitate to answer calls. In the end I am very happy.

I had an appointment that was a week away for an oil change and to have my tires switched to snows. My tire had a flat this morning so I called Johns quality and they had no problem fitting me in to do the above with very short notice when they were very busy and fully booked. I highly highly recommend. We have gone to Johns for a few years now and would never look back. My husband and I are more than pleased. We are never overcharged and always get incredible service. I had several very good experiences with this Transmission shop this past year ,including a clutch replacement, new brakes and lines, and a driveshaft on an old British sports car .Also a complex transmission job on a more modern 7 seater van .The staff are very friendly ,the work excellent and at a very reasonable cost .I would highly recommend Peterborough Transmission .
