I needed a pin for my excavator and a young apprentice named Cole selected the correct stock, welded a washer on one end, drilled a hole for a large cotter pin, and chamfered the end on a lathe. He added a large washer for the cotter pin side to complete the process. I was charged for 15 min labour and the materials for a total charge of $37.50. I do not think any other shop could ever beat that. The pin fit perfectly.Lire plus
